Trust before transaction

Inviting someone into your home is personal.

Houseboy’s brand can wink. Its trust and safety practices cannot. These principles govern the founding program and the marketplace we intend to build.

Private home media

Walkthroughs and photos are stored privately, never shown on public profiles and shared only after customer approval.

Claims require verification

Real profiles will distinguish identity, business, screening and insurance checks. No badge appears merely because someone claims it.

Address minimization

A full service address is not needed to express interest and should be disclosed only when a booking requires it.

Either side may decline

Customers and providers can decline a match. Providers must never be pressured into an undisclosed job or out-of-scope service.

Household services only

Houseboy is household hospitality. Sexual services, harassment, discrimination, unsafe work and illegal activity are prohibited.

Independent professional boundaries

Providers control their services, pricing, schedule, methods and request acceptance, subject to their agreements and applicable law.

At launch

Submitting a request or application starts a conversation; it does not create a booking, employment relationship, payment obligation, guarantee, background-screening result or safety certification. We will publish more detailed conduct, dispute and verification policies before transactions begin.
